The study „Logistics Outsourcing – Success factors of 4PL, LLP and 3PL in chemical logistics” explains in detail when and for whom an outsourcing of logistics management tasks is useful.
The study by the Institute for Applied Logistics (IAL) at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (FHWS) and CAMELOT Management Consultants offers companies from the chemical industry a guideline for their outsourcing strategy in logistics and supply chain. In addition, it reveals the current status quo of logistics outsourcing in the chemical industry relating to fourth party logistics (4PL), lead logistics providers (LLP) and third-party logistics (3PL).
