A Structured Way to Master Data Maturity
Master data management has seen a significant boost in top management attention
in the last decade. The main reason is that each CEO or CIO is working on digitalization initiatives, with different strategic goals and expected outcomes. Nevertheless, significant differences can be seen in the approach, the progress, and the development of different companies.
In this study, we outline developments in comparison with a CAMELOT study on Master Data Management conducted 10 years ago. We also shed light on different aspects and developments of the MDM House to outline where the above-mentioned differences result from.
One of the main findings: master data initiatives are mainly business-driven, compared to
