Supply Chains matter!
The German Logistics Congress has been the networking event for all top managers in logistics and supply chain management for decades. The international community meets annually in Berlin to exchange knowledge and experiences, to learn from the best and to define the logistics agenda for the coming years.
In 2022, the logistics sector and thus also the German Logistics Congress will be more relevant than ever. In the two-year pandemic, many people, also outside of logistics have realized the significant contribution that logistics makes to security of supply. Disruptions in the supply chains were prominently discussed in the media. And even if there were massive delays and delivery problems for certain products, none of the dramatic scenarios of empty shelves and gas stations without fuel came true here – impressive proof of the efficiency of logistics, even and especially in the crisis. Despite all the adversities, the players in logistics created solutions every day and showed their system relevance.
