Mannheim, Winnenden 11/27/2018 Alfred Kärcher SE & Co. KG has engaged the consulting specialists CAMELOT Management Consultants to raise its supply chain processes to a new level. The goal of the project is to further increase the performance of Kärcher’s global supply chain. Alfred Kärcher SE & Co. KG is a leading worldwide provider of cleaning technology. The firm has over 12,300 employees who work in more than 110 companies located in 68 countries.
In 2017 the family-owned company posted turnover of EUR 2.5 billion, the highest in its history. With high-pressure cleaner and ultra-high-pressure cleaners, vacuum and steam cleaners, pumps for the home and garden, sweepers and scrubber driers, car washes, cleaning products, dry-ice blasting machines, drinking- and waste-water treatment plants, water dispensers and telematics-based fleet management, Kärcher offers innovative solutions to problems. They include coordinated products and accessories together with advice and service.
In order to continue its course of success and growth into the future, Kärcher requires high-performance supply chains. Complex products, as well as a value chain with a strong international component, have made it necessary to transform the company’s supply chain processes. In the first phase of the project, which is currently ongoing, the future mission and an implementation road map are being developed.
